B Series on GB - bad barrel

9 posts in this topic

Saw this on GB today. Rifle looks like it was shoved barrel first into the mud and left there. If someone has an extra barrel, this might be the one for you. Low starting bid with 14 bids already.

Wow, this one went for $5,527.00 (plus tax and shipping) and without any pictures showing the condition of the insides. Doesn't look like the seller offered an inspection period either.

Now the new owner has to outbid me for the Scott barrel on RIAC.

I thought about bidding on the GB JSAR, but when it went over 4K, I knew it was going to go high, so there was no point.

I wish the new custodian well.

Yes, I'm thinking that Mr. Scott's barrel is going to set a record. Good luck to you.

If my (current high) bid winds up being enough, I will have a spare barrel for my JSAR. I placed the bid in anticipation of buying the rusted barrel gun.

I suspect I will be outbid.

I believe Mr. Scott originally sold these bbl for over $600.  They are top quality
