It almost seems like the person who stamps the numbers lightly hit the 2 then realized it was supposed to be 9 then 2.  Must of been close to quitting time on a Friday.

Another rarity has appeared, a pretty nice reproduction stock. Buy-it-now is $1000.00 and it you want it, I would definitely use the Buy-it-now option.

I'm glad you were able to make the deal. That is the nicest reproduction which I've seen and it included the recoil tube installed! That recoil tube assembly would cost nearly $300.00 alone.

I knew it wouldn't last long.

Spoke with the seller. He said is was made by Murray’s Gun Stocks. He also said it is absolutely beautiful and very little if any finish work is needed other than applying BLO. Will be a good stock to place on my JSAR and keep my original military configured stock safe.

That's a lot to spend but with the values of these rifles and the quality of that stock, I think you made a wise purchase also! Nice job and I can confirm that the BLO treatment will make it look great!
