Safety lever question

How is the lever attached to its shaft?-looks like a cross pin but I want to make sure, I have a safety lever where the plunger is not engaging the detents on the trigger housing so I want to make sure I understand the set up before I try to sort it out.

It has the cross pin.  Pin is straight but hard to find, 90 deg to lever.
