Johnson Automatic Carbine Prototype .30 carbine

I was not sure where to post this, or is even relevant to the JSAR community?

I am thinking there was no relation to the JSAR or to Col. Melvin Johnson.

Looking for any information on some documents I came across.

Johnson Automatic Carbine Type S55/3-1, Cal..30 CARB.- Prototype by Lt. Col James H. Johnson. Circa 1968

It looks similar to a "Feather Industries" AT-9, but in .30 carbine. And was pitched to the government  with a submachine gun version
