From the close ups, and the Johnson Arms marking, and the 4 digit serial number, It looks like one of our last models. The stock and scopes are an add-on. The money sounds OK for one of ours, because they are rare. Ed Johnson

Hi, just got carbine S/N 1105 on receiver marked Johnson arms New Haven Conn. MMJ-5.7 very good shape, metal is great, wood is fantasic but military. I would like to find correct stock if anybody knows of one out there.

The stocks were all custom sporter stocks, not military. Photos of the Spitfires with stocks can be seen on the 5.7 website operated by Steve Enstad, at:
