I am having a hard time touching base with you. My age and no computer skills are not helping.

I have a 1941 Johnson rifle and a 1941 LMG that was put back together with the help of Brian Alpert and

Rodney Richardson. It runs very well on the range, no problems. I was at the Barre,Vt. gun show last week

and was asked if one or both were for sale and offered $ 9000.00 for both. I have no idea what the semi auto

LMG is worth. Any thoughts ?

Thanks for the  info. The LMG was built with help from Brian Alpert and Rodney Richardson. Brian was a big

help all around..I have sent photos to rarecat ( Frank ) to look at, as he may be interested in one or both.

      Thanks

Can you give me a ballpark estimate on the value of a Johnson LMG that has been converted to

semi auto? I was at the Barre, Vt. gun show last weekend and I had someone enquire as I told him

    I had one to sell.

I am interested in the semi auto conversion, do you have an estimate on costs ?  The receiver that was cut is from

a 1941 Johnson rifle. It was cut thru the rear sight dovetail,so I will need a ejector assembly and locking cam and

roller assembly. The firing pin was also cut, other than those items I think it is complete. I do have the rear sight.

    Thanks

I have not been able to figure out how to send you photo's on the forum. Will try to get my son to help send photo 's of the cut receiver.

It is a semi auto receiver and so marked. It was converted to a JLMG . All I would like to do is make it a JLMG

      semi auto.

      Brian,

I am unable to send photo's. The JLMG was a working gun before it was cut. what would be ideal for me would be to have it welded back together then machined back to spec. Do you know anyone that is able and willing to do this ?

      Thanks
