This Winfield Sporter in 270 WCF with a 1917 Enfield front sight, a polished and blued, drilled and tapped receiver with a "leaf" sight, went for $2550 on GB last week. One never knows!

I opened the bidding on that rifle but that is as far as I got before someone used the buy it now option. My "lucky streak" continues on. I want to find a garage sale like one of the other members went to and found a receiver for $5. I bet that was a be "still my heart" moment. Some day it will happen I hope.
