3 posts in this topic

Has anyone had any info re Marrone shotguns ? Made in Hope Valley Rhode Island .It was supposed to have come from the Johnson Custom shop after JA closed. I just saw one with a deep blue finish in 12 ga. I will post pictures when I can . Odd to see an over under in the US in the 50's. Regards , RI Gunner

Johnson Automatics Associates operated in Hope Valley, RI under the ownership of former Johnson Automatics employee, Kenneth Kemp. Basically, when I used them for final assembly of the 5.7mm Spitfire Carbines in 1965 - 1967, they were a small custom gun operation. I don't recall the Marrone shotguns by name, but it is possible that they worked on some.
